Terms of use
The short version for kids
- Be kind. Only share things you made yourself.
- Ask your grown-up before sharing with the world.
- Do not share secrets like home or school.
Version and effective date
Version: 1.0. Effective date and last updated: 2 November 2026. These Terms of Use govern use of the Boomche app and related services (including boomche.ir).
Agreement and who may use Boomche
By creating a parent account and a child profile, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms on their own behalf and on behalf of the child. Boomche is for children aged about 5–12 with an involved parent/guardian. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Operator: Boomche (boomche.ir). Contact: Info@boomche.ir.
Parent accounts, OTP and local PIN
Parents sign in with methods we provide (for example one-time codes sent to phone or email). Parents create and manage child accounts. A local parent PIN on the device (stored as a hash) helps gate grown-up actions such as public sharing and purchases. Keep OTP codes and the PIN secret. You are responsible for activity under your parent account and the child profiles you manage.
Community rules for kids
Be kind. No bullying, unkind words, or hurting others' feelings on purpose. Only post what you made or what a grown-up said you may share. Do not share secrets: full name, address, school, phone number, or passwords. Do not show faces, school uniforms, or home in photos. No scary, violent, adult, or hateful content. No pretending to be someone else. If something feels wrong, tap Report or tell your grown-up.
User content (UGC), licence and ownership
Creations belong to the child/parent as between you and Boomche, subject to others' rights (for example if a photo includes someone else's work). By uploading or posting, you grant Boomche a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including AI enhancement you request), display and distribute that content only as needed to operate the service for the audience you chose and for safety/moderation. You can delete content or close the account subject to the Privacy Policy. You promise you have the rights needed to upload the content and that it follows these rules.
AI-generated content
Some features use AI (through our contracted AI processing provider) to enhance images or create cartoons/animations. AI outputs are labelled as AI-generated or AI-assisted. Results may be unexpected or imperfect. Do not rely on AI outputs as factual advice. We do not offer emotion recognition. Inputs you send to AI features are processed to provide that feature as described in the Privacy Policy.
Parental controls and public posts
Default sharing is private. Kindergarten, friends and public/World audiences are chosen per post. Public/World sharing requires the parent PIN on this device and may be reviewed before it appears. Parents should supervise use, review content, and use reporting tools when needed.
Moderation, reporting, appeals (DSA Arts. 16 & 20)
We may remove or restrict content or accounts that break these Terms, harm children, or appear unlawful. Users can submit notices/reports in the app. For significant moderation decisions we provide a statement of reasons where required and a way to complain or appeal by writing to Info@boomche.ir. We may prioritise reports that involve child safety. Repeated or severe breaches may lead to suspension or termination.
Purchases (parents only) and consumer rights
Only parents/guardians may make purchases (wallet top-ups, digital items or subscriptions as offered). Prices and taxes are shown at checkout by our payment provider. Under EU consumer rules, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, we will ask for your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the withdrawal right once performance begins, where that waiver is allowed. If something is faulty, mandatory consumer rights still apply. Refund requests can be sent to Info@boomche.ir. Children must not complete payments.
Prohibited uses
Do not attempt unauthorised access, scrape, disrupt or reverse engineer the service except where mandatory law allows; do not upload malware; do not use Boomche for commercial spam or to exploit children; do not bypass parental controls, PIN gates or safety systems; do not use the service unlawfully.
Intellectual property in the app
Boomche's name, branding, software and non-user content belong to Boomche or its licensors. You may use the app only as allowed by these Terms. Feedback you send may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
Service availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change. We may suspend access for maintenance, security or legal reasons. AI and hosting depend in part on our AI and hosting providers.
Liability (EU consumer law)
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. To the extent allowed for consumers in your country, we are not liable for indirect losses that were not foreseeable. For parents acting as consumers, statutory rights remain. Business users (if any) may have additional contractual limits agreed in writing. The app is provided with reasonable care and skill; nothing in these Terms overrides mandatory consumer law.
Account suspension and termination
Parents may stop using Boomche and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity after notice where appropriate. Surviving clauses (for example IP, liability that lawfully survives, governing law) continue after termination.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will notify parents in the app. For material changes we will ask for renewed acceptance (re-consent) before continued use of affected features. The accepted version is remembered on device with the legal version code.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Any dispute will first be resolved amicably through contact with us (Info@boomche.ir); failing that, the competent courts of the Islamic Republic of Iran have jurisdiction.
